1. The service
CommsCrisis is a browser-based drafting tool for incident communications. It runs entirely in your browser. There is no server, no database, no backend, and no API. No account, login, or registration is required. No data is transmitted to any server.
2. No accounts, no data storage
This tool does not create accounts, maintain sessions, or store any data persistently. All incident facts and generated drafts exist only in your browser's memory for the duration of your session. Closing the page discards all data permanently. There is no mechanism to retrieve, restore, or audit past drafts.
3. No email, no notifications, no posting
CommsCrisis generates text drafts for you to copy and use. It does not send email, post to status pages, create tickets, send webhooks, or trigger any external action. A human must review and send each draft.
4. No legal or SLA promises
The drafts produced by this tool are templates. They do not constitute legal advice, SLA commitments, admission of liability, or binding promises of service levels. The user is responsible for reviewing each draft before publication and for ensuring it complies with applicable legal and contractual obligations.
5. No warranty
This tool is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The operator disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
6. Limitation of liability
In no event shall the operator be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the use of this tool. The user assumes full responsibility for the content of any draft copied from this tool.
7. Governing law
Not yet determined. No legal entity has been registered and no jurisdiction has been chosen. The operator must supply the entity name, address, and governing jurisdiction before any legal claims can be brought.
8. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when a legal entity is established. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the tool after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Billing
The CommsCrisis Free tier is available at no charge. No payment information is requested or collected. No billing cycle applies.
The Team tier is currently in development and has not been released for purchase. If and when a paid plan is introduced, the price, billing period (monthly or annual), and feature set will be clearly displayed on the pricing page before any charge is incurred. No customer will be billed before the paid plan launches and before they actively choose to subscribe.
Failed payments. Because no payment is currently taken, no payment failure scenario exists. When paid tiers are introduced, a failed payment will result in a 3-day grace period during which the service continues uninterrupted. If payment is not resolved within the grace period, access to paid features will be suspended until the payment succeeds.
Refund policy. No refunds are applicable because no charges are currently processed. If a paid tier is introduced, refunds will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law and will be described in an updated version of these terms before any transaction takes place.
No payment processor is connected today. Any checkout form on the site is a demonstration only. No credit card data is collected, transmitted, or stored.
10. Contact
There is no contact email address, support mailbox, or postal address available at this time. The operator has not yet established a means of contact. If you have questions about these terms, consider the tool's technical behaviour as described in this document to be the definitive statement of how it works.
